TAPUAE ROAD.

The next deputation introduced included Mr R. Gregg and Mr Hargreaves, who requested that money should be placed on the Estimates to improve the Tapuae road and extend it. It was a highly important road running north and south from Honikiwi to the Caves. The settlers had been in the district for several years and wished to have the connection made. Mr Hargreaves and Mr Gregg pointed out on the map of location of the road and the necessary extension.

Mr Fraser said the request would be carefully noted and everything possible would be done to further the wishes of the deputation.
