BOWLS

Th local green is playing very well at present and excellent form is being shown by a number of players. Some of the tournament fixtures have been played off, and with fine weather it is anticipated the greens will be kept going busily for the remainder of the season. The form shown by firstyear players is distinctly good and next year there should be some very strong teams available for engagements both at home and abroad. Members of the Hamilton Club have expressed a wish to visit Te Kuiti and no doubt a club match will eventuate later in the season.
