It may be interesting to those who do not already know, to learn of some way to arrive at the age of pigs, so we give the following:— Pigs having their corner permanent incisors cut may be considered as exceeding six months. Pigs having their permanent tusks more than half up may be considered as exceeding nine months. Pigs having their central permanent incisors up and any of the first three permanent molars cut may be considered as exceeding 12 months. Pigs having their lateral permanent incisors fully up may be considered as exceeding 18 months.
