THREE KINGS COLLEGE v O N EI-111N G A METI IO Dl 3 TS.

The. above match was played on September 30th at Alexandra Park, Auckland, as a curtain raiser to the Cup final. City v. Marist Bros., and resulted in a win for the College Boys by 11 points to 9. The game was fast and open. The back play of the Maoris being much appreciated by a very large number of spectators. For the College, Wetini, Herewini, Pee Whitinui and Takawe Ngataua {Te Kuiti boys) played well, while for the losers Soar, 0. Bay and Moore did good work. The College boys closed a record season with this match. The seniors have played 9 games, winning 8 and drawing 1. The juniors played 6, won 5, lost 1. As no less than eight of the College players come from Te Kuiti and surrounding districts, it is very probable some of them will be playing for King Country teams in the near future.
