The whole of the furniture was destroyer). The building was owned by Mr H.'.le, of Wellington. The ];3!ic y had tieeii informed that the dwelling would be unoccupied for some time. A constable was proceeding to the house to see if everything was safe when he -saw the building ablaze. The origin of the fire is a mystery.
