WAIKATO CENTRAL SHOW.

Th" Waikato Central Agricultural Association concluded their eighth annual show on Friday. A record attendance of visitors from all parts of the disrict was present, but intermittent rain showers late in the afternoon somewhat marred an otherwise enjoyable outing. Keen interest was taken in the jumping and ring competitions held during the afternoon, and there was close rivalry for the honours. The champion hunter event brought out a big field, ami the judge experienced some difficulty in allocating the awards, eventually giving the pride of place to E. T. Bent's Tom Burns, with second to Allen Graham's Lonely, and third to Frank Vosper's Doctor.
