Jospeh Scott, who has been making a habit of sleeping in Haglcy Park with a grass clod for a pillow, waß taken to the police station yesterday and found to be in a filthy condition. Ilia clothes were absolutely crawling with vermin and his body was in a frightful state, his shoulders raw from the attack of the vermin and his ictaliatory scratching. His hair and beard were matted with dirt and his face was blackened with grime arid dirt, and could hardly be recognised as that of a human being. 110 was mopped down in the police station yard with a solution of Jeycs' flu d and water, and the frightful Btatc ol the man's head and shoulders whb revealed in all its horror by the cleansing process. He underwent the bathing ordeal without a word, and eeemtd to rather enjoy his al fresco sousing.
