The amendments made by the Legislative Council in the Licensing Bill include the following:—No-license to come into force on the day the result of the poll is published, and restoration to come into force three months after the. poll. The locker system to be abolished in no * license districts under penalty of £SO for first offence and imprisonment up to throe nionthß for storing and keeping liquor for any other person or leasing a building for the purpose.
