pavilion. Players are particularly requested , to get their matches off to time, other- ; wise they are liable to forfeit. Players are requested to note that on the completion of each game, their j scoring cards, duly totalled and signed j by both skips, are to be handed to the j Secretary. ; Notes by "The Kitty." The A section of the Pairs Match should prove a very keen struggle, the : skips being very promising first year s players. On present form Edgar. ' Matthew and Paxton have winning chances with the odds slightly in favour of Edgar. ; The B section is very open, and the ; result will depend mainly on how the ' leads come on as they are all new men. : However, "Finance" and "Education" should have something to say at the finish. There are '32 entries in the First Year's Players Match, and I expect to see the following players win their sections:—A section, Edgar; B section, Smith; C section, Matthew. Air Rouse has very generously do- ; nated a second prize in the First : Year's Players' Match. ;
