Julian —Price.
A pretty wedding took place on Thursday at All Saints' Church, Kilbirnic, Wellington, when Miss Margaret Marion, second daughter of Mr and Mrs He-rvey Price, of Austin street, Wellington, was married to Mr 11. Frank, only son of Mr and Mrs Alfred Julian, of Te Kuiti. The Rev. H. G. Blackburn*?, M.A., officiated, and the church was prettily decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, and wore a
trained gown of white duchesse satin, with transparent yoke and sleeves of silk embroidered net, surmounted with a wreath of orange blossoms and silk embroidered tulle veil, and a lovely shower bouquet with white ribbon streamers; she also wore the bridegroom's gift, a gold necklace, brooch and bracelet, set with moonstones. During the ceremony the happy couple stood underneath a large wedding bell of white flowers. The brdesmaids were the Misses Price, Compton and Hurley. They wore pink, blue and sea green, in pale shades of chiffon taffeta, with tucked net yoke and sleeves, and large hats trimmed with flowers to match the gowns. Each carried shower bouquets of white flowers. The bridegroom's presents to the bridesmaids were a cameo ring, an opal ring and a pearl and sapphire pendant. Mr E. J. Early was best man, and Messrs Butler and Ivon Price groomsmen.
Mrs Price, mother of the bride, wore a grey silk voile trimmed with crerne and grey embroidered silk net and black toque with ostrich feathers and pink ribbon, and carried a bouquet of pink flowers; Mrs Julian, mother of the bridegroom, heliotrope charmeuse silk Princess robe with creme net yoke and sleeves and creme, silk lace scarf, a tulle and net toque to match the gown, trimmed with violet ribbon and small pink flowers, bouquat of lilac flowers and maiden-hair fern; Mrs C. E. Bennett, aunt of the bridegroom, a peacock blue silk, creme net yoke and sleeves, white hat with feathers, white ostrich boa, and a bouquet of white flowers. After the ceremony the bride's parents held a reception at Carroll's, where about 90 guests sat down to the nicely arranged tables. Some of the guests were —Mrs C. W. Hursthouse, black silk, black bonnet with purple flowers and ribbon; Mrs Compton, black silk, black and creme hat; Nurse Everett, vieux rose silk, black hat with lace and flowers; Mrs Easson, black silk bonnet to match; Mrs H. Ward, green silk, large black hat with pink roses; Miss Easson, rose Shantung silk, hat to match; Miss McCardie, pale blue, hat to match; Mrs Huggins, creme costume, hat with pink roses; Mrs Cattanach, blue dress, black hat trimmed with blue; Mrs Vallance, brown braided costume, hat to match; Mr 3 Blakely, creme dress and hat; Mrs Greenwood, black silk; Mrs Hyde, green silk, green hat; Miss Hyde, brown silk; Mrs liigginson, black chiffon taffetas, black hat with white osprey; Miss Hurley, pink dress, black hat; the Misses Mitchell, white dresses and black hats. The bride's travelling dress was a creme coat and skirt, green hat with flowers and ribbon.
The happy couple left for Rotorua and Auckland where the honeymoon is to be spent.
