The above resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the Waitomo County Council, on the 17th October, 1910, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at the next Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held at the County Chambers, Te Kuiti, on Wednesday, the 23rd of November, 1910. WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE. fIIHAT in pursuance and exercise of J- the powers vested in it in that behalf by the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: — THAT for the purpose of providing Interest and other charges on a loan of £4OOO authorised to be raised by the Waitomo County Council under the above-mentioned Act, foe the purpose of metalling a portion of the several roads of the HONIKIWI SPECIAL RATING AREA, the said Waitomo County^Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of One Penny Halr'-penny in the Pound upon the rateable values of all rateable properties in the Honikiwi Special Rating Area. The boundaries of the Honikiwi Special Rating Area are as follows:--Commencing at a point at North-East corner of Section 6, Block 16, Pirongia survey district; thence on the North generally by the Northern boundaries of said Section 6 Block 16, and Section E2, Section 2, Turoto and Section 2 to the Moakuraura stream; thence by said Moakuraura stream to the North-East corner of Orahiri No. 3, Block 14; thence by Northern boundary of said Section, Orahiri No. 3 and Section No. 1, Block 14; thence on the East by said Section No. 1 and Section 1, Block 14, and Sections 1 and 2, Block 1, Sections 3, 6a, 6b, Block 2, Orahiri; thence on the South generally by Sections 1 and 3, Block 4, Orahiri, 12, 11, by Western, Northern and Eastern boundaries of Section 10; thence by Southern and Eastern boundaries of Section 9 to Section 7; thence by the Southern boundary of Section 7, Block 7, Orahiri; thence by the Southern and Eastern boundaries of Section 12, and by Southern boundary of Section 13, Block 3. Orahiri; thence by Southern boundary of Sections 9, 11, 12, 15, to the Waitomo stream; thence by Waitomo stream to the Otorohanga-Piron-gia road, from the OtorohangaPirongia road to North-East corner of Section Q, No. 2; thence along the Northern boundary of said Section Q, No. 2 to the Eastern and Northern boundary of Sections 8 and 7, Block 4, Orahiri; thence along the Block line between Blocks 8 and 4 to the South-East corner, Turoto C, No. 2b, Block 15, Pirongia; thence along the Eastern boundary of said Section to Section 6, Block 16; thence ajung the Southern and Eastern boundaries to commencing point. And that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable halfyearly on the Ist day of February and Ist day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36£ years or until the loan is fully paid off; and subject in all respects to the provisions relating to a Special Rate raised as a security for a loan under the said Act. The interest to be paid on such loan is at the rale of Four Pounds Seventeen j Shillings and Sixpence per cent, per j annum, and the interest (hereon for one year together with the cost of raising the loan is to be paid out of such loan.
Hie above resolution was passed at a Special meeting of the Waitomo County Council on the 17th of October, 1910, and will he submitted for confirmation aa a Special Order at the next Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held at the County Chambers, Te Kuiti, on Wednesday, the 2ord of November, 1910.
