OTOROHANGA S.M. COURT
(Before Mr F. O'B. Loughnan, S.M.) Wera Hemera was charged with using ' insulting language whereby a breach of the peace might have been occasioned. Mr Hoskings appeared for defendant who was convicted and fined £1 and £1 8s costs. Henry -Rayner, for placing an obstruction on the footpath of Maniapoto street, was convicted and fined 10s and 7s costs. Judgment for plaintiffs with costs was given in the following civil cases: —Otorohanga Trading Co., Ltd v. Paehua Whaukuia, claim 13s 6d, costs £1 17s 6d; Johnson v. T. G. Turner, claim £3 9s Id, costs Ids; same v. Motu. claim £l2 7s Sid, costs £2 ss; same v. Toheriri. claim £4 13s Sd, costs £4 Is (id; same v.
