DUNCAN FRASER has not received an. acceptance of his .£IOO Challenge to compete with any shooter in New Zealand under New Zealand Gun Club Rules at pigeons off 33 yards, with 2Jin. "C.A.C." CARTRIDGES, against Imported Cartridges. Ho now withdraws the above Challenge and substitutes A £SO CHALLENGE, to enable his competitor to use a gun chambered to take 2-Jin. cartridges. Mr. Fraser will use the "C.A.C." ordinary 2iin. Smokeless Cartridge, known to the trade as "Nitro-Speeial," which has only been placed on the market this year. It is a low-priced smokeless cartridge designed to compete with the corresponding imported article of the same cost. Each shooter's cartridge to contain one oz. of shot only. Each shooter to fire at 100 Live Pigeons. The rise to be 33 yards. The boundary to be 40 yards. Mr. Frascr's cartridges must be purchased from the trade, and any shooter who takes up tin's Challenge must shoot with IMPORTED CARTRIDGES purchased from tho trade only. Each shooter must bring to the ground on day of competition conclusive evidence as to where his cartridges were purchased, also the receipted account for same. The Match to be shot under New Zealand Gun Club Association Rules. To take place at Wellington before the end of the present year, 1910. Mr. Charles Haines, Wellington, is to he the holder of the stakes. Eacli competitor to appoint a Referee, who will appoint a third to act in case of dispute. The latter's decision to be final. Acceptances of this Challenge must bo handed to Charles Haines, Esq., Box 470, G.P.0., Wellington, by letter, and there must, be at the same time enclosed a draft for £SO on any New Zealand. Bank.
