London, Last Night. One hundred and sixty thousand ballot papers have been distributed to miners in South Wales. The issue is restricted to the question whether the Cambrians shall lie financially supported or whether there shall be a general strike. Mr McLaren, M.P., characterises the ballot as grossly unfair. Virtually all who are opposed to a wild aggressive policy will be disfranchised. The "Daily Chronicle" considers Mr McLaren's strong words are justified.

M. Chavez, the aviator, has died of injuries received in his flight over the Simplon Pass.
