WEDDING BELLS.

A Pacmako Function. A large number of guests assembled at the invitation of Mr and Mrs Sincock at their home in Paemako on i Wednesday afternoon to witness the marriage of their daughter, Lou ha Grace to Mr Percy Hopkins, son of Mr George Hopkins, of Manurewa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. ! R. Mitchell of Te Kuiti. The bride | looked very comely clothed in a neat j gown of figured silk lustre with ortho- j dox veil and bouquet. She was at- , tended by her sister. Miss Lilian Sin- j cock, as bridesmaid, and wore a pretty j cream delaine frock. The bridegroom ; was supported by his brother, Mr ' Sydney Hopkins, who efficiently car- ; ried out tbe duties of his office as best j man. ! The wedding presents were both ! useful and ornamental. The bride \ wore a delicate tir-bar gold brooch, I and the bridesmaid a gold sapphire j brooch, botb being gifts of the bride- ! groom. A sumptuous wedding breakfast was laid in a marquee in the j garden, the tables being reinforced bythree stiintgs. Mr Mitchell, in a very , happy speech, proposed the health of j the happy couple, which was suitably j responded to by the bridegroom. Mr ; Elliott proposed the toast of the bride's j parents, and Mr Sincock feelingly re- j sponded. The health of the brides- * i maid was next proposed by Mr G. Hopkins, and was responded to by Mr Sydney Hopkins in a very eloquent and j ! humorous speech. In the evening the guests adjourned j to the schoolroom, where a social even- ; I ing was enjoyed till the "wee sma' " j hours.
