NEHENEHENUI FOOTBALL SOCIAL.

The annual social promoted by the Nchcnchcnui Football Club was held in Te Kuiti Hall on Thursday evening last, and proved an unqualified success. Mr J. T. Hetet occupied the position of M.C., and directed the proceedings with his customary geniality and tact. During the evening songs were contributed by Miss Buckwortb, Miss Brady, Hira and Gray Pootawera, and Mr H. E. Kerr, the accompaniments being played by Mrs Stanton, Miss Buckworth and J. Hetet. The dance music was supplied by Messrs J. "i. Hetet, piano, and Saunders, violin Dancing was kept up till shortly after 2 o'clock, and with first class music and excellent floor, those present thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The financial result of the social was very satisfactory.
