Speaking of air travel, it was agreeably surprising to find that Benjamin Franklin was the first person to receive a letter by air mail. Sounds but the fact is a communication was 1 him across the English Channel in a balloon in 1785. He was in France at the time. It is incidental, although not without interest, that the flight was made by John Jeffries, another Bostonian. Don’t keep Sneezing, get Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure. W. E.
