NOT SO GOOD.
It had rained heavily all day and the camp was completely flooded. Going his rounds just before ‘‘Lights Out!” the sergeant caught two of the men washing in the floodwater. ‘ ‘ What do you fellows think you ate doing?” he bawled to them. His voice brought an officer on the scene. ‘‘What’s the trouble, sergeant ” he asked. ‘ ‘ Why, these men are washing themselves in the water they are going to sleep in-” was the disgusted reply.
