R.N.Z.A.F. PLANE CRASHES.
TWO men killed, four missing WELLINGTON,fSeptember 30. Two members of that Royal New Zealand Air Force lost their lives, four others are reported bussing, believed drowned, and a seventh was admitted to hospital with shock and bruises as a result of an aircraft accident at a South Island air station yesterday af' noon. The personnel concerned were: Died of Injuries: Pilot Officer Dean Rainsford Horrocks (Takapuna), Sergt. Vincent Charles Hill (Christchurch). Missing, Believed Drowned: Sergt. Gordon Francis Stevens (New Plymouth), Sergt. Victor Newell Chapple (Haw Ora), Sergt. Jack Gilbert Bryson (Christchurch), Aircraftsman (First Class) John Gordon Davis (Wanganui) Shock and Bruises: Warrant Officer James Alexander Colway (Masterton).
