KAIKOURA COUNTY COUNCIL. PROPOSED LOAN OF £4OO TOWARDS COST OF CHAR WELL RIVER BRIDGE STAG AND SPEY ROAD.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that ■ the Kaikoura County Council proposes at its Meeting to be held on the 9th DAY OF JULY, 1940, to consider a Motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of £4OO for the purpose of defraying part of the cost of erecting a Bridge across the Charwell River on the Stag and Spey Road. The security for such Iman shall be a Special Rate of Five Thirty-seconds of One Penny (5/32d) in the Pound (£) on the Rateable Value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all Rateabb* Property included in the Special Rating Area defined for the proposed work. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Kaikoura County Council not later than the <lay preceding the said Meeting.
