A. AND P. ASSOCIATION

AIEETING 10.30 A.M. SATURDAY. WOOL PRODUCTION COSTS. Under the auspices of the A. and’ P. Association, a meeting of all interested in the wool and sheep industry will be held at the Council Chambers at 10.30 on Saturday morning, when the question of costs of wool production will be discussed. In another column we re-pub-lish an article setting out the costs of production on a farm of 4000 acres carrying 2400 ha If bred sheep. Sheep farmers are asked to submit statements of costs on similar lines, in order that a reasonably accurate decision may be arrived at. If the industry is to be placed on a sound foundation, it is first necessary for sheep men to help themselves, ami this the Association considers can best be accomplished by sheep men submitting statements of costs as indicated. Then the matter can be placed before the Government backed up by reasonably accurate figures. It is hoped there will be a large attendance at the meeting.
