QUESTIONS IN HOUSE. LONDON, -June 9. Replying in the House of Commons to a question by Mr Vyvyan Adams (Conservative), the Foreign Secretary. Mrr Anthony Eden, said: “Reports that I influenced Mr Jordan (New Zealand High Commissioner) at Geneva on May 29 arc entirely without foundation. Every Government is entitled to its own viewpoint and reports that I blue-pencilled speeches are entirely inaccurate.’’ Miss Ellen Wilkinson (Labour) asked: “Is it a fact that the Foreign Secretary made no representations which caused Mr Jordan to modify his speech*! ’ ’ Mr Eden: I think my answer was quite clear. Dr. H. Dalton (Labour): Does the Foreign Secretary not. welcome the sincere and wholehearted support of the Covenant of the League by New ZeaIn nd ? Mr Eden: I welcome support from all the Governments of the Dominions.
