MRS FREER RETURNS

BACK FROM SYDNEY j Mrs M. M. Freer has returned to Xew Zealand. There being no alteration in the official attitude towards her entry into Australia, she found when she arrived in Sydney by the Awatea that she was still refused permission to land, and she remained on board and returned to Wellington on Monday. Mrs Freer left the Awatea alone, and as she came down the gangway there were probably few among the crowd on the whai*f who knew her. At the foot of the gangway several photographers were waiting and they worked quickly. Mounted on the top of a motor-car was a motion picture cameraman and his plant. Mrs Freer tooik in the scene quickly, and, smiling, waved her hand.
