KAIKOURA AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION THE following Classes have been added to the Show Schedule, for the ANNUAL SHOW, to be held on FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 1937: WOOL CLASSES—--1 Halfbred Hogget Fleece, skirted and belljy removed. 1 Half bred Ewe Fleece, skirted and belly removed. 1 Crossbred Hogget Fleece, skirted and belly removed 1 Crossbred Ewe Fleece, skirted and belly removed. SHEEP CLASSES (Natural Condition) 3 Halfbred or Corriedale Ewes, 4 tooth and over; must have been run on hill country for the past 12 months up to the time of shearing, and to comply with the natural condition, declaration and in the opinion of the Judge to have reared a lamb during tho past season. Natural condition declaration to be signed by exhibitor: “(1) That the sheep were shorn evenly and close to the skin; (2) that the wool has not been trimmed in any way since, except crutching or dagging; (3) that there has not been any colouring, oiling, or locking except dipping; (4) that the sheep have not been housed, rugged or covered at any time or in any. way. 3 Crossbred Ewes, 4 tooth and over; must have been run under flock conditions for the past 12 months up to the time of weaning, and to comply with natural condition declaration. FLOCK COMPETITIONS. Halfbred and Corriedale 2 tooths, to the number of 20 per cent of exhibitors breeding ewe flock. Crossbred 2 tooths, as for above (stud .breeders are not eligible to enter in the above classes). ENTRIES for Flock Competitions CLOSE DECEMBER 31st. Entry Fee 10/. Prize, Sweepstake, 75 per cent, of pntry fees will be used for prize money. Judging will take place at a suitable date in the autumn.
