MR L. E. CLARK FINISHES HIS FLIGHT TO NEW ZEALAND.

Mr L. E. Clarke, of North Canterbury, who left England on a flight to New Zealand to assist in shearing his sheep, arrived at Christchurch at 8.40 last evening. Mr Clark left Richmond Aerodrome,. Sydney, shortly after 5 o’clock, N.Z. time, arrived at Blenheim at 6.20, passed over Kaikoura at 7.38, reaching Christchurch at 8.40. There was a crowd of 30,000 to witness his arrival. The Mayor of Christchurch and other speakers congratulated Mr Clank on his performance, Mr Clark returning thanks, and expressing pleasure at being in .his own country once again
