STOCK SALE
There was only a moderate entry at the stock sale held at Alcssrs Pyne, Gould, Guinness’s yards on Friday, but the sale was a keen one and the yarding was cleared at satisfactory prices. Forward springing heifers realised from £5 to £7 5/-, backward heifers £4 2/6 to £5, second to fourth ealvers £6 7/6 to £7 17/6, fat cows £6 10/- to £7 10/-, forward store cows and heifers £4 10/- to £5 12/6, twenty weaner pigs 15/6 to 16/6.
