COMBINED SPORTS.

BOXING DAY. Mr W. F. Perrin presided over an attendance of 18 at the committee meeting of the Combined Athletic Club and Band. It was decided that the Highland dancing events be open to competitors resident between Waikari and Blenheim. A working bee is to be held at the Domain on December 25 to prepare th • ground for the sports, ami members are requested to bring their hammers, saws, pliers, etc. The meeting complimented the collectors for their ■es, ami a hearty vote of thanks was passed to all donors of cash and trophies. The sum of £6 16/6 and 20 trophies were the result of the collectors’ (Messrs Shannon and Barker) activities. The following is the list of donors: —Messrs J. A. Johnston, A. W. Barker, E. W.
