Entries at the Addington market on Wednesday were generally up to the average. Fat sheep advanced 2/ per head. Beef cased by about 2/ per lOUlb. STORE SHEEP. There was a very small entry of store sheep. Most of the sheep were of a plain class, there being very few outstanding lots forward. Wethers were particularly scarce. Values were: Four, six aud eight tooth half bred wethers 35 /to 37/7. Failing mouth halfbred ewes, in lamb, Aged half bred ewes, with lambs, 21/11 to 24/ (all counted).
Aged three-quarterbred ewes, with lambs, 20/7 (all counted). Half bred ewe hoggets 34/10 to 37/6. Crossbred ewe hoggets 28/3. Crossbred wether hoggets 24/9 to 28/7 Good halfbred wether hoggets 26/ to .31/1. Inferior wether hoggets 23/ to 25/9 Romney cross owe hoggets 41/1. Three-quarterbred ewe hoggets 35/1 SPRING LAMBS. There were 39 spring lambs forward. They met with a good demand and most of the lambs made over 35/, the top price being 43/6. FAT SHEEP. Anything good sold well.
