Crawford rehabilitated himself in tfc? eyes of the Australian tennis public to-day, when he defeated kworld’s champion, Perry, after a gruelling five set struggle. In the finals of the Men’s Singles, Crawford defeated Perry 7/5, 2/6, 6/3, 1/6, 7/5.
Women’s Singles:—Miss Round defeated Mrs. Westacott, 6/2, 6/0. Men’s Doubles:—Crawford and McGrath defeated Hopman and Maer, 6/1, 6/4, 6/4. Women’s Doubles:—Misses Dearman and Lyle, defeated Miss Round and Mrs Hopman, 6/4, 6/0. Mixed Doubles:—Perry and Miss Round, defeated Hopman and Mrs. Hopman, 6/3, 6/A
