SALARIES INCREASE
RATIONING CtJT OUT. HARBOUR BOARD’S DECISION. (United Pram Assn.) AUCKLAND, Last Night.
An increase of 5 pec cent, in all sal-i aries as frem_ October 1 and tbe di&continnance of rationing were decided, upon by the Auckland Harbour Board. An announcement to this effect was made by the Chairman, Mr E. B. Clay, following a discussion of the estimates by the Board in committee. increase in salaries will mean an additional expenditure of about *BSOO a y«ar. ■_ .
