It is reported that the Federal Cabinet today, decided upon a general election as early as possible, probably in the middle of September. A definite date is to be toed, when party reports from all States are obtained A conference between the United Australia Party and the Country Party has resulted in the recent politi cal differences, chiefly in reg t S rig being overcome.
