The trade with New Zealand was also the highest yet experienced, and new avenues of trade with South Africa and Canada are also being ] explored. > All this is very gratifying But Mr j Ford pointed eut that Glasgow; is rhe 1 only big British port without cold- i storage facilities handy to the docks \ a lafik which must be made up if imports of perishable products are to increase.
