WAGES CUT
ACCEPTED BY OPERATIVES ITALIAN COTTON INDUSTRY (United Pres* Am—By EUetric Telegraph—Copyright.) ROME, August 29. The cotton industry accepted a ten per cent wage cut, affecting all but minimum wage earners. The agreement is welcomed as a triumph for Fascist policy, which, while forbidding strikes, safeguards the lower paid workers at a time when the cotton industry of other countries is paralysed by strikes.
