Dr Moora of tba Greymouth Hospital, was a visitor to Reefton yesterday.

Dr Logan of Waiuta paid Reefton a visit on Saturday, and returned iD the avaning.

Mr W. S. Pratt, who has been on a visit to Christchurch, returned by Saturday evenlug’s express.

Mrs Guy oi Greymouth, Is in Reefton on a visit to her mother, Mrs Gamble.

Mrs Crabb of Dick Street, returned to Reefton Saturday even* lug.

Mrs P. Walsh, who has been on a visit to Ross, returned on Saturday evening. The condition of Mr Paul Holmes at the Reefton Hospital, was to day stated not to be very favourable.

Mr H. Betts of Oweke, Inangahua Valley, was a visitor to Reefton this afternoon.

Miss E. Conway, Wellington, anived by Saturday evening’s Christchurch express on a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs E. J. Conway, Broadway.

The death occurred early this moruing at CobdeD, of Mr Hughie Alexauder Thompson. Deceased who was a South Westland native, was 56 years of age and unmarried.

Word has been received fn Dunedin that Colin, elder son of the late Dr. Raynor Bell and of Mrs Bell, and a grandson of tbe late Mr James Bell of Inangahua Landing, has obtained a place on the training-ship Worcester. He leaves for England early iu November. Dr. Raynor Bell, whose early death occurred in Dunedin a few years ago, had many friends In Westport and In the Inangahua district.
