Wales Excepted Melbourne, This day Mr Lyons announced definite plans for raising three millions to alleviate unemployment during the winter Authority has been given by the Loan Council for each State, on its own responsibility, to raise the money. The exception is New South Wales, but if this State is prepared to give an assurance that it will also honour the Premiers’ plan, similar authority will be given. New Guards’ Petition London, April 20 The New Guards’ petition praying that His Majesty, through Governor Game, dissolve the New South Wales Parliament, has reached the Dominions Office. It is impossible to say at present what further action will be taken, but it is expected it will reach the KiDg in due course.
