While motoring to Nelson on Saturday in his car, Mr H. Walsleben had a slight accident, with the result that Mi9s Wills sustained a slight injury to a hand.

The death took p*2ce at Cobden last evening, of Mrs Ellen Josephine O’Neill after a long illness. The deceased lady, who was 70 years of age and a natw? of Melourne, landed at Hokitika in 1865, residing there and at Kanieri until ber removal to the Grey district about 20 years ago. She leaves a family ot five sons and three daughters.
