PERSONAL NOTES.
Tbe Duke of Gloucester will be operated on at ten o’clock to-morrow morning, says a London Press cable. Mr N. Lawn, who has not bean in very good health recently, left by this morning’s train for Christchurch on a brief holiday. Mrs W. Kerr. Lower Hutt, who has been on a visit to her parents, Mr and Mra E. J. Conway, left on return to Wellington via Greymouth last evening.
