quarterly meeting NUMBER OF CLAIMS DEALT WITH (Per United Press Asa n.j WELLINGTON, Last Night. At the quarterly meeting of the Public Service Superannuation Board, 2d contributors, retired by reason of age, or length of service, were granted allowances of a totni of £6llO per annual. Eleven contributors retired as medically unfit, were granted allowances totalling £9lO per annum.
Sixteen widows, with twenty children, were granted statutory allowances amounting to £lOl6 per annum. In consequence of the retirement under Section 26 of tho Act, accrued compensation to the amount of £IO3O became a liability on the Superannuation Fund and a corresponding relief to the Consolidated Fund.
