The tourney was continued yesterday when slight showery weather was experienced, until about * seven o’clock, when a heavy downpour put a stop to all play. The final of Men’s Championship Doubles, played between Johnston and Patterson and Robinson and llawkins, was won by the former after a splendid exhibition by all play-rs. The final of the Ladies’ Doubles was also completed when the Misses Poole defeated Mrs Instone and Miss Taafle after a good match.
