Conscription
Workers' Protest Received this day, 11.20 a.rr London,' Sept 29. Replying to Mr Thome in the House of Commons, Hon. Mi Asquith said he had received 400 resolutions from workers protest ing against conscription, The Imperial Conference Reed this day at noon LONDON, Sept 29. Hon. Mr Chamberlain, .reply ing to Mr Rees, said no decision had yet been come to, respecting India's representation at the Imperial Conference. The Government could not decide without consulting the Dominions.
