From same, that if Council re« - commend time to be given J. Morris for payment of arrears of rent, the Minister has power to agree to the recommendationResolved that the Minister be asked not to enforce payment of rent for six months. From Minister Public Works, to Mr Colvin that the Chairman's telegram re grants would receive consideration when the Supplementary Estimates were being dealt with.—Received. From Under-Secretary Public Works, that Resident Engineer had authority to have noxious weeds lemoved from railway and road Creserves as requested by Council.—Received.
