Ashburton Races. Per Press Assn. Ash burton, May 13. The Ashburton County Racing Club's Autumn Meeting was continued to-day in beautiful weather, j the attendance being large and the I course is in excellent order. Thir- | teen bookmakers were licensed at a fee of Li 5 10s. Results— Moriton Hack Handicap—Claymore r, British Peer 2, Umeraboy 3. Gunboy and Salaam were scratched. Won by four lengths. Time 1.17.1-5. Winchmore Welter—Field Gun 1 North Pole 2, De Witte 3. Roscommon was scratched. Won by two lengths. Time 1.31 3-5. Autumn Handicap—Sea King I, Dabchick 2, Lady Disdain 3. Speculate and The Orient were scratched. Dabchick got away badly, Sea King, getting a good start and keeping in front all the way, won fairly easily by four lengths, a length between second and third. Time, 1.48 3-5. Juvenile Handicap—Gunboat I, Montreal 2, Boutade 3. All started, lime 1.161-5.
