A meeting of the Chamber of Commerce Council was held last night at Dawson's Hotel, Mr J. Noble in the chair. It was resolved to hold a special meeting of the Chamber for the purpose of discussing the best means of exploring 'he vast coal measures of t : ie district. It was resolved that tlr?
