Wellington, June 20. A meeting of the Advisory Board of the Employers' Federation decided, pending the Hon J. A. Millar carrying out his expressed intention to introduce legislation early in the session to define "aiding and abetting" in connection with strikes, not to institute proceedings against the various Unions alleged to be concerned in aiding and abetting the Blackball strike. The Labour Department wrote stating they intend taking proceedings ?gainst the men who struck at the Wanganui Freezing Works. The Federation will send a deputation to j the annual conference of Farmers' Unions to endeavour to secure affiliation of all Farmers' Unions with the Federation for mutual, protection.
