Athens, April 15. Forty Turks were killed at the fight at Baltino. Delyanius has asked the Chamber to pass a war vote of 28,000,000 drachmal or £920,000. He st.ted the situation on the frontier is due lothe singular conduct of Turkey in massing troops. He expressed the hope that the powers would consent to a peaceful solution of the difficulty, failing in which the Greek army would soon be ready to fulfil its mission. The Chamber will vote three month's supplies. London, April 16. The Times correspondent at Athens wires that the main body of National Leaguers entered Tbessily, and to avoid being surrounded by the Tories a small detached band of forcts are concealed iv the mountains near Grevena. Fdhem Pasha bas informed the Sultan that the Greek National League forces are rendering the position on the Tui co- Grecian frontier untenable, and requested an authority to cose the Greek frontier. Ministers have approved of this step, and the Sultan is considering it. The Porte has protected ta the Powers that it is unfair that she should be prevented from reaping an advantage if compelled to attack Greece. London, April 15. The Czar arid Fmperors of Germany and Austria are in fayor of a blockade of the Greek ports by the allied fleets, but Great Britain, Fraoce, and Italy, hesitate to join the movement. Rec. 17th at 12 10 a.m. Athens, April 16. The Chamber of Deputies has passed the war vote of £920,000 asked by Delyanius. April 16. The National League forces are surprised at the strength of the Turks, and are depressed -at their failure to arouse Macedonia. The Athens newspapers denounoe the Government for abandoning the League. London, April 16. Russia and Austria have securei the neutrality of Balkan States in the event of war between Turkey and Greece unless the co-nationalists are attacked. The Powers have postponed the blockade of Pirans thus depriving Greece of the pretence of breaking the peace.
