A Special Prize will be given to the competitor scoring the highest number of points at the meeting which counts as follows : First 5, second 2, third 1, Prize, £1 10s. Boys 1 and Girls' Baoes between the events, and a variety of otker sports on the ground. Nominations for Hospital, Half mile, and Hurdle Handicaps will be received by Mr J. Nagle or the Secretary until Saturday, 12th December, at 10 o'clock p.m. i aooompanied by cash and last six performances sent in writing. Handicaps will be declared on Monday, 14th December, and acceptances received up to Wednesday, 23rd December, at 10 o'ojogfe p.iu. Starting— Any competitor passing his mark before discharge of pistol will be put back one yard in the 110, 150, and 220 yards handicaps two yards in 440 yards handicaps, three yds in 880 yards handicap for first offence, these penalties to be repeated for a second offence, and for third offence disqualification for event. All questions as to starts shall be in absolute direction of the starter. Any competitor found crossing or jostling will be ioama* diatoly disqualified and the race run again at the discreiion of the committee. Protests may be received within a quarter of an hour after the complet on of any event if accompanied by a deposit of 6s, which shall bo forfeited if the protest prove frivolous.
