NELSON EDUCATION BOARD'S . ADVERTISEMENT. * ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES IN SCHOOL DISTRICTS. IN accordance with Section 64 of "The Education Act, 1887,'' and Section 5 of " The School Committees Election Act, 1891," the Nelson Education Board hereby notifies that tne meetings of HOUSEHOLDERS will be held in all the School Districts within the Education District of Nelson at 7 .30 p.m. (except in the City of Nelson, where the meeting will take place at 8 p.m.) on MONDAY, the 25th day, of April, 1892, for the ELECTION of School Committees. The meeting will be held in the School-room, where there is but one, and in other cases as follows : — At Richmond, the Boys' School; at Hope, the Ranzau School: at Appleby, the Appleby School; at Lower Wakefield, the Girls' School; at Brightwater, the former Girls' School; at Riwaka, the Riwaka School; at Charleston, the Girls' School; at Westport, the Town Hall; at Nelson, the Provincial Hall. Householders are required to send in writing, to the Chairman of their respective School Districts so as to be delivered before 8 p.m. on Monday, the 18th day of April, the names of persons, being resident householders, nominated by them to serve upon the School Committee for the year next ensuing." In the following School Districts the Committee will consist of Five Membebs, viz. : — Aorere, Brighton, Central Buller, Cronadun, 88 Valley, Earamea, Murchison, Pokorcro, Pakawau, Promised Land, Pariwhakaho, Rockville. In the following School Districts the Committee will consist of Seven Persons, viz. :— Appleby, Addison's Flat, Brightwater, Black's Point, Cape Foulwind, Capleston, Charleston, Church Jlill, Collingwood, Dovedale, Denniston, Foxhill, Granity Creek, Hope, Little Grey, Long Plain, Lyell, Moutere Upper, Moutere Lower, Motueka, Motupiko, Motupipi, Neudorf, Ngatimoti, Pangatotara, Richmond, Riwaka, Stoke, Spring Grove, Stanley Brook, Suburban North, Takaka Lower, Takaka East, Tadmor, Waimea West, Wakefield Lower, Wakefield Upper, Waimangaroa. In the following School Districts the Committee will consist of Nine persons, viz. : — Nelson, Reefton, Westport. Each nomination must be signed by the Proposer and Candidate, and be in the form or to the effect ol the schedule attached to the bchool Committees Election Act* . AIDED SCHOOLS. The Parents and Guardians of children attending Aided Schools will meet in their respective .School Houses at 7.80 p.m., on the 25th day of April, for the Election of School Committees. The first meeting of each of the newly-elected School Committees shall be held immediately after the election, in the room . where the election was held, and the names of the members, and officers of the Committees, must be forthwith sent in to the undersigned.
