J.T. and W.M. advertised themselves as good-looking, ami-able, and well-to-do, and in want of pattners for life. They solicited photographs of the fair ones who might reply to their appeal, and iv response received the cartes of two very handsome girls. The missive iv which the photographs were enclosed requested the young men to wear neckties of a - certain colour, and to place flowers in their button holes, so that the demoiselles might be able to recognise them, and the time and p'aco foi meeting was named. The youog ladies promised to wear neck ribbons that would correspond in colour to the ties of the young men. Puuctual to the time the two umorous swains paraded the side walk, dressed us arranged, and from the opposite side of the way were laughed nt by a group of boarding School misiaes, whose companions had concocted iho trap for tho befooled bachelors, who were kept in blissful ignorance of the hoax because the girls carefully refrained from showing any article of attire- of the tint that wua fixed upon.
