A The annual gathering under the auspices of the committee of the above were held on Friday, and attracted a large attendance. The weather was fine, and the different events were well contested. The following are the results:— 1. Black's Point Sheffield Handicap Foot Ritco, '150 yards. First prize, £1; 2nd, £1 . 10*. Ncminatiuns 2/6, acceptances 2/6. First Heat. G. Cochrane, 5 yards . . .. 1 F. Smith, 4 yards . . . . 2 Won by a yard after a good race. Simpson 6 yards, Lawn 9 yards also started. Simpson a good third. Second Heat. J. Cochrane, 8 yards . . . . 1 W. Rivers, 8 yards . . . . 2 F, Mclntyre G yards, and H. Smith 4 yards also started. Final Heat. J. Cochrane, 8 yards . . . . 1 G. Cochrane, 5 yards . . . . 2 F. Smith, 4 yards . . . . 3 W. Rivers, 8 yards . . . . 4 Won by a yard from J. Cochrane, with Smith and Rivers close up. 2. Bovh Ilnc»\ First prize 5/ , ; 2nd, 2/G. Entrance free. O'Neill .. 1 Lawn . . . . . . . 2 Eight started. A good race with O'Neill and Lawn. 3. Walking Match Handicap, 1 mile. First prize, 30/-, ; 2nd, 16/-. E:>trnnce 2s. C. Black, 100 yards . . . . i ' J. Ranger, 60 yards . . . . 2 Gillon scratch, and Grant 40 yards also started. Won by 20 yards. The ficratoh man was out of the event. 4. Unni'ini: Hi«li Jump. First prfie, 20/, -2...), 10/-. First prizn £i ; 2nd, £2. Entrance ss. Eight, competitors or no 2nd prize. For this event there were eight competitors, lien Orr proving the victor.
