Acceptances of 1 soy., received up to 9 p.m., on December 15th. 2. Handicap Hack Race of 15 soys.— Distance, 1 mile. Post entry, 1 soy. 3. Inanoahua Cup of 150 soys.— Second horse to receive 20 soys. from the stakes. Distance, 2 miles. Nominations, 2 soys; Acceptances, 4 soys. Time of Nominations, declaration of weights and acceptances, same as West Coast Produce Stakes Handicap. 4. Novel Selling Race of 15 aovs. — Distance, 1 mile. Post entry, 1 soy. Winner to become the property of the Reef ton Jockey Club. 6. Railway Stakes Handicap of 30 soys. — Second horse to receive 5 soys. from the stakes. Distance J mile. Nominations 10s, reoeived up to 9 p.m. on night of general entry; weights declared and acceptances of 1 soy. received immediately after Inangahua Cup is run. 6. Mineiw' Plate Handicap of 40 soys. — Second horse to receive 5 soys from stakes. Distance, 1J miles. >Nominations, 1 soy, received up to 9 p.m. on night of general entry. Weights - clared and acceptances of 1 soy, received immediately after the Railway Stakes is run. SECOND DAY. 1. West Coast District Handicap of 50 soys. — Second horse to receive 10 soys. from the stakes. Distance, 1 mile. Nominations 1 soy., received up to 9 p.m. on night of general entry ; weights declared at 9 p.m., and acceptances of 30s, received up to 11 p.m., on night of first days racing. 2. Selling Race Handicap of 20 soya. — Distance, 1J miles. Post entry, 1 soy. The winner to be sold for 20 soys., any surplus to go to the Club. 3. Midsummer Handicap of 110 soys. — 2nd horse to receive 15 soys. from stakes. Distance, 1$ miles. Nominations, 30s. received up to 9 p.m., on night of general entry; weights declared immediately after West Coast District Handicap is run, and acceptances of 3 soys, received up to 3 p.m., on second day's races. 4. Handicap Hack Race of 15 soys. — Dißtance J mile. Post entry 1 soy. 5. Boatman's Handicap of 40 boys. — Second horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes. Distance 1£ miles. Nominations 1 soy, received up to 9 p.m. on night of first days racing ; weights declared and acceptances of 1 60 v., received after the Midsummer Handicap is run. 6. Consolation Handicap of 20 roys. — Distance, 1 mile. For all -beaten horses. Post entry, 1 soy. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Night of general entry: Thursday, 15th December, 1887. Qualification for District Races to be as follows: That all horses entered for the District Race or Races shall be the bona fide property of a resident in one of the counties of Buller, Inangahua, Grey and Westland for three months, and that such horse itself shall have heen in one of the said counties at least three months immediately prior to the race or races for which is is entered. No entry will be reoeived for any of the races except on this condition :— That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the stewards, whose decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All ntries to be sealed and addressed to the necretary. Entrance money and qualification enclosed, with the name, age pedigree of the horse, name of the owner and colors of the rider. No nomination will be received without the entrance money. This regulation will be rigidly adhered to. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race unless he be a subscriber to the race fund of not less than 1 soy. Hack races excepted. In the event of any person entering a protest the sum of £2 must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Three horses must accept for each event or the public money will not be given. All entries for Hack Races to be subject to the approval of the Stewards. Stakes paid less 5 per cent.
